As with any large construction project, there can be potential challenges involved with steel structure projects in the Dominican Republic, such as obtaining the right permits, materials transportation, and skilled labor requirements. However, with proper planning and attention to detail, steel structure construction​ can offer many benefits for communities in the Dominican Republic.

The continuous development of the economy has led to the progress of society, and the construction industry has also continued to move forward. Buildings are more like works of art, and steel structures are generally favored by architects, and the production, type and quality of steel and steel at home and abroad have increased substantially, but there are still many shortcomings in the field construction technology as well as quality control. This paper mainly analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of steel structure engineering construction technology, and how to control the construction quality through the correct construction technology in the construction process.
